Your trial and your subscription
How the 14-day trial works, and where your receipts come from.
Billow has no free tier. Every workspace runs on a trial or a paid plan.
The 14-day trial
Pick a plan and you get 14 days free. A card is required, and the trial starts when you complete checkout.
The first charge happens when the 14 days are up. Cancel before then and you’re never billed.
One trial per workspace, ever. If a workspace lapses and you come back later, there’s no second trial. Your card is charged as soon as you subscribe.
This is per workspace, not per person. Being invited into someone else’s workspace doesn’t use up yours.
Two different Stripes
Both are called Stripe, and both live in your settings.

They’re independent. Cancelling your Billow subscription doesn’t touch your Connect account, and disconnecting Connect doesn’t affect your plan.
Receipts and payment details
Stripe sends your receipts, not Billow. Stripe is the merchant of record for subscriptions, so it handles the charge, the tax, and the emails.
That means:
Receipts, renewal reminders, and trial-ending notices arrive from Stripe, not from a Billow address
Nothing about your subscription lands in your inbox from us
Search your mail for Stripe when you’re hunting for a receipt
Past invoices are also listed on Settings → Plan & Billing under Billing History, each with a Download link to the PDF.
To change your card, use Manage billing information on that page. It opens Stripe’s portal, scoped to payment details only. Plan changes and cancellation stay in Billow.
Who can do all this
Billing is owner-only. Admins can run the whole workspace but can’t see or change the subscription.
